The "WOOD PILE" Family of Rockland, Mass. 

Welcome to the Web Page "Family Tree" of ancestors and descendants of Ada Maud Worthington and  Harry Mansfield Wood, of Rockland, Mass., henceforth known as " The Wood Pile".

This Family Tree Website was activated in June of 2006 and has been renewed every July ever  since.  I did increased it to a "Deluxe" version in 2009 so we have a huge capacity for photos  and wordage.

As so many of you know, Saturday, October 13, 2007 was our first ever "Wood Pile Family  Reunion" at the home of Kelley, Geoff, Zachary & Noah Corcoran in Plymouth, Mass.  After having  rained for a few days, it turned out to be the most beautiful and sunny day for our outdoor get  together, thank goodness.

We had a wonderful turnout of 87 people.  I hope a good time was had by all. Kelley & I had a  great time putting it together and look forward to another one in the future.

I do have a video that my friend, Paul Watson, did which also contains the poem I wrote about  the family.  I went to his TV station in Brockton and recorded it shortly after the reunion. Or  if you just want a typed copy let me know and I will forward a copy to you via email.  So, be  sure to include your email address.

Please let me know if you would like a copy and I will let you know how to get one. I'm afraid  my camera fell and broke in the first 10 minutes of the reunion so I have absolutely no  pictures of the entire event.  So, if anyone has ANY photos, please send them to me to upload  on this site.

I have received a notice from "Tribal Pages" that a DVD is now available of all the information  on our site.  You can let me know if you are interested in obtaining one of those and I will  advise you how to go about getting one.  Currently (2/16/11), the cost is about $20 per DVD.   It can only be played on a computer, NOT on your DVD player.

P.S. 6/4/16....the cost is up to $29 now for DVDs but at this particular time they are on sale  for $23.

Also available now are memory sticks normally selling for $45 but also at this particular time,  they are on sale for $29.  They seem to be keeping up with technology pretty well, I think.

Family Charts and Trees are also available for printing.

The photos will automatically be filed in the "Wood Pile" photo album for us to upload. Please  don't forget to say who the people are in each picture and the date it was taken. AND ALWAYS  ENLARGE your photos when prompted otherwise they come out way too small.

Also, please only send information you want to be printed and shared with the rest of us  ie....your address, phone, e-mail address, birthdates, place of birth, date of marriages,  spouses, divorces, jobs and thoughts in general etc.

FYI....this is a PRIVATE website just for our family use and cannot be accessed or crossed  referenced as I have that option turned off.

Remember..... this is a constant work in progress so keep checking back and keep sending  updated information and photos.  And don't forget to sign the "GUEST BOOK" each time you visit  it.
